Let's Jam!

It's been a while since I tried (and failed) at a game jam. I thought GeoJam 2021 would be a neat jam to try again with. The theme is "Switch". I had a couple ideas, but the one I like the most for this is where you're some kind of property manager who is trying to cut corners with the utilities bill. 

The purpose is to switch water and power on/off. The water and power supplies are limited, so you can't leave everything on. The more you use of each, the more money it costs to use them. Each day, your tenants will pay you rent (less if they are displeased with you).

If they want to use something, you'll have a few seconds to switch it on (if you can). If you don't do it in time, they will damage the object. It'll take time to repair, and once it's broken they'll be immediately displeased when they want to use it.

Seems ambitious, even with this simple art style and a single input mode. Got a week to do it.
